Serves: 8
INGREDIENTS:
- 12 oz frozen pitted cherries, defrosted
- ¾ cup Fox's U-bet Vanilla Syrup
- ¼ teaspoon kosher salt
- 2 cups heavy cream, cold
- 1, 14 oz can sweetened condensed milk
INSTRUCTIONS:
Place a metal bowl in the freezer and chill for 15 minutes.
Combine the cherries and vanilla syrup in a blender and blend until smooth. Transfer to a small saucepan and cook over medium heat until thickened and reduced by half, about 10 minutes. Add the salt.
Let cool.
Remove the cold bowl and add the heavy cream. Use an electric mixer and gradually increase speed to high, beat on high-speed until stiff peaks form. Add the sweetened condensed milk and fold to combine.
Pour a third of the whipped cream mixture into a 9x5-inch loaf pan and top with ⅓ of the cooled cherry vanilla syrup. Repeat layering whipped cream and syrup until no more remains. Use a chopstick to swirl the cherry syrup.
Gently press a piece of plastic wrap into the surface of the ice cream and freezer overnight.
Scoop and enjoy!
