Three gallon (11.35 liters) and five gallon (18.93 liters) Bag-In-Box containers are used at “Post Mix Dispensers”. These are beverage dispensers, which mix the syrups and water with CO2 in order to produce and serve a finished drink in food service establishments. Some equipment uses metal 5-gallon transfer tanks. These tanks are filled by the local distributors either from 55-gallon (208 liters) drums or by pouring the contents of gallon jugs into the container.
